Welcome to my office design where each and every design element was thoughtfully curated to create a workspace infused with a sense of warmth and energy. The desk that we selected is a stunning marble with shades of black and gray veining with its base made of gorgeous chunky marble legs. Mounted underneath the dental crown molding is this unique gold curtain rod with rectangular glass finials and rectangular curtain rings. The curtain panels are a luscious pink velvet with a cream, green and black trim. The rug with its classic design motifs and inspiring colors softens the room and adds an element of elegance. The pink velvet slipcovered desk chair ties in with the pink curtain panels. A custom textural vintage inspired floral painting ties together all of the colors of the room and adds a touch of romance. The chandelier features a stunning arrangement of saddle oyster shells meticulously crafted into delicate florets cascading gracefully to perfectly blend artistry with nature. Another nod to nature comes from our sconces mimicking delicate tree branches. Dental crown molding, beautiful (continued...)

Welcome to the sauna sanctuary primary bathroom renovation. Before, this bathroom was very outdated. Centering the room is a gorgeous glass bubble chandelier with large windows and a freestanding soaking tub. The tub sits atop a platform between the two vanities and has modern gold plumbing fixtures. The cabinetry is a pristine shade of white, imparting a clean and fresh feel to the space. We added molding details to the doors and drawers to elevate the cabinetry design. The countertops are adorned with exquisite carrera marble with a seamless waterfall edge. Her vanity features a thoughtfully designed stool to enhance the space for personal care and relaxation. The basketweave pattern on the tile floor adds interest and character. The lighting was curated to add layers of glamor and sophistication. The chandelier captivates with its ethereal and enchanting design. Each glass sphere encapsulates a mesmerizing dance of light. And the star of this bathroom renovation is the custom built in sauna. It provides a spa-like experience creating a wellness retreat within the home. Right beside the custom shower (continued...)

Welcome to the Tulsa Home and Design floral gem powder bathroom. The pedestal sink is a marble and metal masterpiece with sleek brass legs and a marble top. The marble countertop is a piece of art with iridescent flecks and organic waves of green and white. For the backsplash, we took the countertop material up the wall with a classic decorative shape. The antique inspired brass faucet adds an element of timeless elegance. Shades of black were included in the toilet, the gorgeous black marble base molding and the black hexagon penny tile flooring. The moody vibes come from the stunning iridescent floral wallpaper.  The jewelry inspired sconces add opulence and elegance.

Welcome to the vintage modern fusion kitchen. In this design we bridged the husband’s modern aesthetic with the wife’s love for all things antique. The expansive island size provides a generous area for food prep, cooking and socializing with family and friends. The oversized sink means there is room for this large family to work together. We added in an antique element with these gorgeous gold faucets. Cooking healthy meals together is so important to this family so of course there needed to be an oversized stove and range with six large burners and a griddle. Breathtaking quartzite that matches the island wraps up the wall as the backsplash, displaying its unique veining. And of course no cooking area is complete without a coordinating pot filler. Throughout the kitchen you will see vintage inspired gold hardware. The pantry and refrigerator are tucked behind the main kitchen area. We had so much fun with a green handmade tile backsplash and lemon wallpaper in this area.

Welcome to our gentlemen’s bar design project. In this sophisticated man’s bar design, dark stained cabinetry takes center stage, exuding a sense of timeless masculinity. The dark gray backsplash tiles have a hint of a metallic sheen and feature a textured surface that creates depth and character. The modern lines of the pendant lighting add a contemporary flair. The black apron front sink is sleek and refined. A distinctive black and gold faucet acts as a sophisticated accent. The wood bar top with its gorgeous raw edge adds a warm and natural element to the space. The modern gold hardware serves as a striking contrast against the dark cabinetry. Linked to this area is a striking bathroom featuring complimentary masculine design elements.

Welcome to the Tulsa Home and Design realtor bathroom with its decorative shaped beveled mirror above a small stained wood vanity. The fun personality of this room can definitely be attributed to the kelly green and royal blue chinoiserie wallpaper. High gloss black molding frames the black and white basketweave marble tile floors. Gold sconces with linen shades flank the sides of the mirror. And of course, we always love using an antique inspired gold faucet. We added a touch of whimsy with this fun hand shaped hardware. Black and white textural artwork adds the perfect finishing touch.

Welcome to the livable luxury design project. Before, this living room floor plan was not functional or beautiful. We created a floor plan in which this family could enjoy one another with two sofas and two chairs arranged to face one another. These chairs are hands down the most comfortable chairs that we have ever sat in. The fabrics that we selected are soft and luxurious as well as high performance for cleanability. This large ottoman is perfect for putting your feet up after a long day. A play on water color and pattern anchor the room with this stunning rug. We selected an antique style mirror to fit with the historic nature of this family’s home. Gorgeous gold hardware holds the custom knotted pinch pleat curtain panels that are finished off with a blue trim. The window seat coordinates with the furniture and is the perfect place to curl up and read a book. Custom made pillows were designed to fit the furniture perfectly and add contrasting color and textures to the room. This unique chandelier with its floral design is the perfect finishing touch. Custom made artwork by our in-house artist was created to tie together all of the colors and (continued...)

As you step into this exquisite space, your eyes are immediately drawn to the stunning hexagonal marble floors that stretch before you, their intricate patterns creating a mesmerizing visual display. The cool touch of the smooth, polished marble underfoot sets the tone for the luxurious experience that awaits.

The walls, adorned in matching marble, rise majestically, imparting a sense of grandeur and refinement. The marble veining dances across the surfaces, creating a harmonious symphony of colors and textures that add depth to the room. The seamless integration of floor and wall surfaces creates a cohesive aesthetic that is as visually striking as it is inviting.  (Continue...)

Welcome to the Tulsa Home and Design office kitchen where we had so much fun playing with different elements of color, pattern, vintage and modern. The glass bubble chandelier acts as a whimsical and eye-catching focal point of the room. The design of the side door is truly unique showcasing beautiful decorative carvings and a vintage inspired door knob. For the custom roman shades, we selected a moody vintage floral in a soft velvet. The kitchen sink faucet is classic and timeless. The main wall is covered in subway tiles in varying shades of deep green. The gold metal and glass shelving is perfect for storing and showcasing glassware. For the countertops we chose this elegant granite for durability with waves of black, gray and white moving through the stone. We took the stone down the front of the sink area to create a playful, decorative design element. Decorative arabesque black tiles cover the front of the bar area and gold and acrylic counter stools line the front for seating. We chose a pyramid panel design to make the cabinetry a distinctive design statement.

We are delighted to share with you the Tulsa Home and Design design studio. When we purchased our 100 year old house on Cherry Street we were so excited to create a space that not only supported our design process with our projects and clients but also a space that felt true to the home’s history and character. The before of this room is vastly different from the finished renovation. Welcome to our Design Studio! Where we gather with our team and our clients to make interior design dreams come true. A custom ash table with seating for 14 gives us plenty of room for design meetings. One of our favorite design elements in the room is the custom marble fireplace surround that we had imported from Europe. This focal point adds such natural beauty with its intricate carvings and variations in veining. We added a modern element on top of the mantle with this custom art piece of the Tulsa Skyline. Pinch pleated curtain panels with a classic greek key trim serve as the window treatments in the room. The chandeliers add a sculptural dimension while lighting up the room in (continued....)

The mud will wash off but the memories will last a lifetime. In this mudroom we incorporated a timeless white and black tile. Inset stained red oak drawers line the bottom of the built-ins as the perfect spot for hats, gloves or shoes. The above cabinets are painted in Benjamin Moore Knoxville Gray and have beautiful gold hardware. On one side of the floor to ceiling cabinetry is a coat closet and the other side has separated sections with hooks for backpacks, coats etc. While this is usually a utilitarian room, we didn’t skimp on style.  (Continue...)

This beautiful new construction laundry room checked all of our clients boxes. It is beautiful, calm and a perfect space to do laundry. Welcome to the blue botanical laundry room. In this laundry room you’ll find elegant, soft blue cabinetry, that exudes a sense of tranquility and peace.

The walls are adorned with floral wallpaper featuring delicate patterns, inspired by nature, the floral accents bring a touch of outdoor zen, adding to the peaceful feeling this room exudes. A blue and white marble mosaic covers the floor. Shelving was added for our client to display her collection of vintage baskets. The gold and marble hardware tie in with the marble on the flooring.  A sink adds functionality and convenience for a multitude of tasks. White marble countertops with gray veining was a beautiful addition to the room.

Who wouldn’t look forward to doing laundry in a room this beautiful? (Continue...)

At Tulsa Home and Design we strive to make each design totally unique. Our Mediterranean inspired primary bath design was no exception to this rule. We converted a small window seat and closet area into a dream primary bathroom. Rich warm tones with a neutral backdrop make this room a soothing space to unwind and relax in.

We added sliding doors to separate the bedroom from the bathroom to create a feeling of a grand entrance. These mahogany doors were stained with a light colored stain and have black inset door pulls. The natural light and view of the outdoors is highlighted with the addition of a large dormer window above the freestanding soaking tub. Usually found in architectural elements, we incorporated Mediterranean arches with the arched vanity mirrors. Alabaster sconces and a gorgeous modernized candelabra chandelier are the crowning jewels of the room. Our design team selected aged bronze faucets for the shower, tub and vanity to have a warm vintage feel. (Continue...)

This kitchen has by far been the most dramatic before and after. We took a small outdated kitchen and turned it into an absolute dream while doubling the size. There is so much to talk about in this alluring space. So, let’s start at the beginning. We created an entirely new footprint for the floorplan to make it more functional and pleasing to the eye. This open concept overlooking the living room helped to achieve the goal of a family friendly space for everyone to gather around. The back wall of cabinetry includes a panel ready refrigerator and the focal point of the white custom built range hood with gold trim over top of the gorgeous stove. We chose one of our favorite blue paint colors: Benjamin Moore Granite Peak. The quartzite countertops flow up the wall and serve as the backsplash.

The design is elevated with its rich gold finishes throughout the kitchen on the hardware, pot filler, stove, faucet, bar stools and lighting fixtures. We selected the pendants because we fell in love with their uniquely geometric shaped glass. (Continue...)

Laundry is one of those unavoidable facts of life. Many of us find it to be a boring, never-ending task. As designers, we never miss an opportunity to bring joy into our clients home. No room is overlooked. This laundry room was a part of a home addition that we designed and built. This room is up to the task of cheering up anyone assigned to the pesky job of doing the laundry. We took this room as a chance to take some risks with design that the client might have otherwise hesitated to incorporate into the main areas of the home. We punched up the wow factor with a decorative floral wallpaper on the ceiling and a stunning gold light fixture. An earthy pink paint color covers the many cabinets to store all of those unsightly items we don’t necessarily want to look at. There is plenty of counter space for all of that folding that needs to be done on the gorgeous quartzite countertops. A farmhouse sink adds a touch of vintage, timeless style.

In this kitchen renovation our goal was to create a space full of function and sophistication. We used custom cabinetry, a red oak stove surround to create a high end experience. This kitchen includes white marble picket tile and a beverage station with open wood shelving and a beverage fridge. The walls are a bright white and the cabinetry is a soft warm white. We added a splash of blue on the island and greens and blues in the window treatments, artwork and dining chairs. Our favorite design element is the hidden walk-in pantry. The light fixtures are a gold finish and make the perfect statement in the space.

Welcome to the modern wet bar makeover, with its rich dark blue/gray cabinetry and cane insets in the top doors for added texture and warmth. The backsplash tile is a navy blue kit-kat design in a vertical straight stack pattern. Light stained wood shelving is perfect for displaying decorative accents. An element of luxury is added with a gold faucet and a gold hammered sink. The quartzite countertop is rich in character. Making the completed design the perfect spot for mixing up a cocktail.

This bathroom was designed for a precious teenage girl.  What girl wouldn’t want this for her bathroom? We wanted to incorporate an ideal mix of modern and traditional elements in this one.  We accomplished this with the clean lines of the large format marble tile on the shower walls and marble hex floor tile. We combined that with a more traditional moment in the mural wallpaper behind the vanity. The added touch of whimsy from the lavender vanity paint color made this space altogether unique. Our clients asked us if we could turn their outdated eye sore of a bathroom into an eclectic oasis and we were up for the challenge. A little vintage, a little modern, a little boho. Check. Check. Check.

We started with a soft blue-gray wall color that is so soothing. Classic white penny hexagon tiles are on the floors and shower niches.  We selected large format, neutral wall tiles for the shower trimmed out in gold. The gold plumbing fixtures add an element of luxury to the space.

We chose the mirrors because we loved the shape and frames. The three sconces give ample lighting for getting ready on those tired mornings. The navy double vanity has multiple drawers for storage and the perfect area beneath for baskets and towels. We brought in the boho with the rug and fun artwork.

This little powder bath renovation packs a big design punch. There are so many details to love about it. Let’s talk about the whimsical wallpaper! Playful flowers and leaves with neutrals and blues give this wallpaper the perfect balance of spunk and tranquility. The leaf sconces pull from the leaf design element that is in the wallpaper.  We love the Moroccan inspired shape of the gold framed mirror. The white oak vanity was custom built to perfectly fit the space. Quartzite countertops with a decorative backsplash and clover shaped hardware, take this tiny room to the next level. I would be so excited for any guest to powder their nose in this room.  (Continue...)

Half baths are primarily used by guests, so it’s nice to leave a lasting impression. It is important to us when designing small spaces that we don’t skimp on the style. There are many ways that we used design to make this room appear larger than it really is. We selected an open gold vanity base with vintage appeal to make the floor print larger than it would be if we would have used a closed vanity. The wainscoting adds dimension to the space and the dark paint color causes the walls to appear to recede into the distance. To make the room feel light and airy we sourced a white cloud print wallpaper for above the wainscoting. We wrapped it up onto the ceiling to draw your eye up to make the room appear taller. A little fun is added with the unique pendant light fixture. Let’s just say that it is okay to have your head in the clouds in this adorable powder bath.

When our clients asked us if we could come up with a design for a feminine teen bathroom we jumped for joy at the opportunity. The showstopper in the bathroom is of course the pink tiled shower! We chose a fun rosy pink subway tile and took it from floor to ceiling. The featured back wall was installed in a herringbone pattern and the sides in a horizontal straight stack. We chose to do the two installation methods to add interest to a pretty simple shape of tile.

A champagne gold rain shower head is on one wall and the shower lever is on the opposite wall below the niche cutout. The niche gives easy access to products such as shampoo and conditioner. The marble hexagon floor tile flows seamlessly from the bathroom into the curbless shower.

The client opted to keep the big mirrors that wrapped around the side walls. We didn’t want the mirrors to look builder grade so our design team set out to find the perfect pair of mirrors.  (Continue...)

We all know that spending time outdoors helps us to feel more at peace and connected with nature. We focus on creating spaces that serve our clients. We took this humdrum backyard and turned it into a character-rich atmosphere for lounging, entertaining and enjoying the outdoors. The combination of stone and cedar architectural pieces made this patio blend perfectly with the natural elements of nature. We created a feature “wall” with stone that incorporated a large fireplace with a bench all of the way across. Pillars on each end were the perfect spot for outdoor lanterns. Underneath the bench are two nooks for firewood for the wood burning fireplace. The furniture that we selected perfectly fits the space. A sectional provides a large space for family and friends while entertaining and a teak dining table for late summer night dinners.

This bathroom renovation called for a crisp and clean vibe. Our goal was for it to be a space where our clients could feel at peace and restored. We painted the walls Benjamin Moore Chantilly Lace and used all of the white marble, marble, marble! We selected a fun mosaic pattern tile on the floor of the bathroom and a uniquely shaped small scale tile on the shower floor. The tub surround and shower walls have a 12x24 white marble with gorgeous blue gray veining. A light gray quartzite sits atop the vanities. Double shower heads because “Two heads are better than one.” 😉  We pulled in gold details with the faucets, hardware and a lantern style chandelier over the soaking bathtub. (Continue...)

When our clients asked if we could help them with giving the exterior of their Tudor home a new paint scheme we were thrilled. At Tulsa Home and Design we love taking the traditional charm of older homes and adding a modern twist.  Tudor-style homes are often decorated with half-timbering, which refers to the exposed wood framework filled in with stucco or stone. This updated Tudor puts a modern spin on that classic feature with a gorgeous blue and white paint job. We chose to put Benjamin Moore Santorini Blue on the half-timbering and Benjamin Moore White Dove on the brick and stucco. This added the perfect amount of contrast to make the design pop.  Of course we did not paint the original beautiful stained wood front door and left the original oversized lanterns as they were in perfect working condition.
